England's Same-sex Partnership Act becomes weapon
On the topic of bad consequences that flow from giving special legal recognition to same-sex relationships, watch this video about what happened in England after a 2004 law was passed granting same-sex couples all the rights of married couples.
Opponents of Prop. 8, whose primary argument is that supporters of Prop. 8 are intolerant bigots, are invited to read the following and then look at themselves in the mirror:
bigot, n.: One who regards or treats others with hatred and intolerance based on their membership in a group (e.g., racial or religious) and obstinately responds with intolerance to opposing beliefs and opinions.
tolerance, n.: A fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, religion, etc., differ from one's own; freedom from bigotry.
